In this talk, we’ll look into how we at the Mews tech community team approach this topic and the story behind our 2022 event booth. Starring the Mews Kiosk and a claw machine.
Alena Osipova: Reactivating internal tech community after the pandemic
The pandemic brought a lot of changes to the tech community building world. The health of Code.kiwi.com — the community Alena manages — was also affected tremendously. In this talk, she will share the story of how with the members of the internal tech community they learned how to walk again in 2022. If you’re working on reactivating your ‘sleepy’ community or just starting to build a new one, this case could inspire you to try a few things that worked for them.
Karolína Krámková: Do we really know our community?
Karolina will go a step backwards and explore the ways how to get to know your community members. This is essential for everyone with interest in building healthy, self-promoting and active community.
She will uncover the way how they work with community in the chain of coworking centres HUBHUB, as it is a great example of community that requires from the one who takes care to be agile and flexible because of its vibrant and fast changing nature. If only you know for whom you are doing all this awesome community content, then you are doing a great job that delivers expected outcome and can further boost up the community allegiance and self-recognition.
Obviously, this will not give you one ultimate recipe applicable to all environment and conditions, but it might broaden your perspective, bring more ideas and points to think about.

Karolina is a community manager in coworking space HUBHUB in Prague, where she takes care of comfort and happiness of its all members. She used to work with CzechInvest where she was introduced to the startup scene not only in Czech Republic. Besides she can be also found playing the theatre TyJáMi or helping non-profit educational project Nekrachni. She is always with a smile on, passionate about new non/technological trends in startup scene, eager meet new people and hear out the individual stories every day.

Alena is Tech Community Manager at Kiwi.com – a leading global travel tech company headquartered in the Czech Republic. At Kiwi.com she manages the internal tech community – Code.kiwi.com. Her mission is to support citizens of the Engineering Department in sharing their tech stories on all relevant platforms.
