We are Community Professionals of Los Angeles, and we work to create meaningful relationships amongst individuals who work in the online community management profession, or adjacent to it. 

Whether you’re looking to cowork, connect, grab lunch, get career insights, or unwind over happy hour — this meetup is for you. Join us for part of the day or the whole thing!

🌟 New This Month: A Hands-On Career Workshop on Crafting Your Next Move

By popular demand, we’re testing out structured sessions during our coworking days — and we’re kicking things off with a focus on community careers.

After lunch, join CPLA Co-Leaders Chris Catania and Laura Bertocci for a fireside chat-style conversation about growing your career in community. Chris will share:

• What he looks for when hiring community professionals

• How to set (and reach!) career goals

• Insights from his 20+ years in the field

We'll also lead a hands-on exercise to help you shape your own career story and provide a resource guide to take home. Expect to walk away with a clear next step for your growth.

💼 Coworking Details:

• Thanks to a special $20 rate from BLANKSPACES, you're welcome to stay for the whole day or just a few hours — cost is the same either way. Pay in person when you arrive.

• Please register by end-of-day Friday, April 18. 

• We recommend parking in the Culver City Parking Garage located at 3846 Cardiff Ave. The first hour of parking is free, with each additional 30 minutes costing $1, up to a daily maximum of $12. There are also several other parking structures around downtown Culver City, all with the same rates, metered street parking and free residential parking a longer walk away.
