In this talk, we will explore the crucial role of research in developing a new product. The speakers will delve into different methods and techniques utilized at each stage of the process. Most importantly, we will discuss the challenges encountered, the lessons learned, and the importance of collaboration among teams. This talk is not just about the end product; it's about the journey and research practices that guide every decision.
But HOW to do it? That is the question. Ivana will share the experience of the Alma Career Research team. Over four years, they’ve managed to open UX research to 60 people on the product team. Come and hear what worked well, what pitfalls to avoid, and how UX research democratization impacted the role of UX researchers in the company. Was it worthwhile? That is the answer you’ll get.
Research may sound like an exciting and dynamic process, filled with engaging with users, validating ideas, discovering insights, and discussing them with stakeholders. However, the reality is that a lot of time and effort goes into preparations, such as recruiting, scheduling and rescheduling, and sending incentives. Michaela will share a few examples of how automating these mundane processes using Make allowed more time for creativity. So, fasten your seatbelts and prepare for an exciting ride toward a fun and efficient research process.
