You can look forward to presentations by experienced UX/UI designers David Vobecký from Applifting, Jakub Kemr from Česká spořitelna, and Gabriela Ostárková & Jitka Čurdová from Mews.
🗣️ David aka Vobe will share his painful experience with “selling” advantages and the necessity of usability testing to clients who do not know it and do not see its value.
🗣️ Jakub will talk about how Česká spořitelna tests their products with clients and how they deal with the involvement of other team members and sponsors in the research.
🗣️ Jitka and Gabriela will show you what can go wrong during usability testing. They are not afraid to share some of the situations that can happen during the testing. Let’s laugh and cry together.

Usability testing in software agency
When you want to conduct usability testing or any other research method in a software house, it's not as simple as it might seem. Selling it to clients who do not know it and do not see its value is kind of painful. And I'd like to talk about how we dealt with that.
Usability testing in the largest Czech bank
In the last couple of years we transformed our organization to being able to develop our products in end-to-end teams. That means, we had to switch from department/agency style of working as a UX/UI team to be regular team members of this new teams. We wanted to be more focused on products in the whole product delivery life cycle and not only in some parts of this process. I will talk about how we are testing our products with clients and how we are dealing with involving other team members and sponsors into research.
Usability testing fuckups: what can go wrong
There are 100 and 1 things that can go (terribly) wrong when you do usability testing and we’ve experienced many of them. Nobody is perfect so let’s talk about some of the situations that can happen during the testing. Let’s laugh and cry together.
