We’re a travel-tech company developing a global app that simplifies air travel for customers by addressing their anxieties.
Next 10 of June, we’re opening our doors in our Barcelona office to show you how it all works. This isn’t your typical “networking event”. You’ll meet the engineers solving complex problems across travel, payments, data and AI. No fluff, just real stories from the people building the engine.
This evening is for engineers, devs, and tech lovers who are curious about how AI is transforming Kiwi.com and our ways of working.
Tech talks from our CTO, Stanislav Komanec, and other key engineers of Kiwi.com

Stanislav will share how engineering operates at Kiwi.com and how AI is transforming our products and ways of working.
In the AI era, data isn’t just powering decisions, it’s shaping our future. At Kiwi.com, our journey toward a truly data-driven culture began with the Trusted Data Initiative—a strategic effort to clean, align, and unlock the full potential of our data. With strong data governance, clear processes, and visibility, we’ve built a solid foundation that drives impact across the company, shaping everything from day-to-day decisions to data strategies. See how data and AI come together to fuel smart decisions that put travelers first.
If there's one single metric that the FinTech team must be focused on, it's uptime. Every second that Kiwi.com can't accept payments from customers means a lot of money lost on potential revenue. But the fact is that, in our team, the practices to achieve high availability aren't the same as in other domains. Payments is less about server or database redundancy, and more about emergency routing, fallbacks and production testing. This talk is an overview of these practices, from which payment methods to add to the platform to relevant monitoring.
In an industry where timely support and seamless experiences are everything, AI-powered virtual assistants are transforming the way travel companies serve their customers. This talk explores the next generation of always-on assistance—how intelligent, conversational AI tools are delivering instant answers, handling complex requests, and providing personalized service across every stage of the travel journey. Discover how these innovations are redefining customer expectations, improving efficiency, and unlocking new possibilities for both travelers and support teams.
