Join us at the Kotlin Meetup for insights into the latest in Kotlin and modern application development, great people, and conversations.
Connect with fellow enthusiasts, expand your knowledge, and have a great time—we can’t wait to see you there! 🙌
As Productboard scaled, we faced a crucial architectural decision: stick with our monolith, break it into microservices, or find a middle ground. Initially drawn to microservices, we soon realized they weren’t the right fit for our needs. Instead, we adopted a modulith approach—structuring our application into well-defined, independent modules while maintaining the benefits of a single deployable unit. In this talk, I’ll share why we chose a modulith over microservices, how we implemented it using Kotlin, Spring, and Gradle submodules. This session will provide practical insights into building modulith architecture.
🔹 What are the possibilities for full-stack development in Kotlin, and how to leverage KMP? 🔹 Practical demonstration of using Compose HTML + Kobweb. 🔹 Ktor backend + Firebase.
This event is all about tech, Kotlin, inspiration, and networking 🚀 (plus refreshments and beer from Dva Kohouti or Pilsen 🍻).
The talks will be live-streamed, and the recordings will be available online after the event.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon! 🙌
