Jully & Tomáš will demystify the concept of data modelling, explaining its role in transforming chaotic data into structured, actionable insights. Drawing from their real-life experiences at Kiwi.com, they will share common pitfalls encountered, illustrating how data modelling has been pivotal in achieving analytics stability and reliability. Expect a candid discussion with examples, valuable lessons, and a touch of humour, all aimed at helping you navigate your own data challenges.
Lets explore how to implement Data Quality (DQ) checks on data models using Cuallee, a powerful tool designed for efficient DQ validation. Radka will provide a short demo showcasing the setup and execution of these checks, followed by a brief overview of how to automate them in Kestra. This session is ideal for anyone looking to enhance the reliability of their data models with automated quality checks.
As data practitioners, we tend to believe in the power of the structured models we build to draw insights for guiding business decisions. But could we be wrong? Is it just a story we tell ourselves to justify our value? For better or worse, we’ll explore the unthinkable – the harsh truths about traditional data modelling and how we should move forward from here.

From the Most SNP you will walk along the Danube River straight towards the Chatam Sófer bus stop. Just before that, there will be a right turn-off to the Zuckermandel complex. The exact address is Žižkova 7803/22b.
In the building, at the main reception, you say your name, and the receptionist will give you a card that will take you up to our Kiwi.com office on the 5th floor by the elevator.
Please be informed that photography and videography will take place during this event (either from SentinelOne or Kiwi.com who is hosting in their offices).
