There are more than 180 cognitive biases inherent to human reasoning and decision-making processes, which we face everyday and often overlook when discussing the ethical complexities of large language models (LLMs). I want to demonstrate that human cognitive biases also exist in LLMs and highlight the consequences of using biased reasoning masked as expertise. I will provide a set of best practices on when and how to use this technology as its widespread adoption continues to grow. -Define what cognitive biases are through the dialogue story. -Dive into large language models. -Share some examples of LLM biases. -Dive into cognitive biases that are common for humans and LLM. -Provide recommendations that can help avoid biases while using LLM.
Let’s explore the future of UX Research with AI as our assistant. AI’s pivotal role in transforming interaction to its strategic opportunities. In this session, we will explore how embracing AI can elevate our work as UX researchers, and you will meet Kaia.
As a solo UX researcher in a rapidly growing company, remember: You don't have to just survive - you can thrive and love your job! Learn practical strategies that will help you create an immediate, lasting impact in 1 year. You'll understand where to start, how to prioritize, how to democratize research to build allies and visibility, and how to simplify research operations. Join me to discuss how as a solo researcher, you can succeed and find enjoyment in your job.
