Angela Chee is a keynote speaker, emcee, media and communication coach, podcast host, and author of The Power Of The Only—Own Your Voice, Thrive In Any Environment. She helps leaders Own Your Only™ and be YOU, Amplified!®—empowering them to show up with clarity, confidence, and connection both on-camera and off. Angela believes being “The Only” in the room is not a weakness—it’s your greatest strength.
A former TV news anchor and reporter with over 20 years of experience in the media industry, Angela has worked in top markets including KCBS-TV and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, and Fox 6 and KNSD-TV in San Diego. She has hosted shows for networks such as E! Entertainment, HGTV, and Channel One News, and helped launch Entertainment Tonight China. She was the featured media mentor and expert on Lifetime’s The Pop Game, and has appeared on national platforms including The Today Show, as well as in the film Blades of Glory and TV shows like Heroes and No Ordinary Family.
Angela’s speaking journey began at just 15, when she became the first Asian American woman to win the title of Miss California National Teenager. Today, she delivers keynotes, emcees large-scale events, and facilitates leadership and communication trainings for Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, and Freddie Mac. Her topics focus on leadership, women’s empowerment, DEI, personal brand, and effective communication.
Through one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and online programs, Angela equips visionary leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs to break through internal barriers, own their power and voice, and step fully into their leadership and mission.
Angela was born on the East Coast and raised in Los Angeles by Chinese immigrant parents. She is conversational in Mandarin Chinese and currently lives in San Diego with her husband and two teenage children. A soulful, health-conscious foodie, she loves yoga, quotes, and all things inspirational.
